Doctor Teaches Advanced Wellness-Longevity System in the U.S.
BROOKLYN, NY—At the Sadkhin Complex in Brooklyn,
New York, Dr. Gregory Sadkhin teaches Americans to train their bodies
to work at peak levels, preventing disease and retarding other factors
in aging. "Aging is inevitable," says Dr. Sadkhin, "but we can slow
down the process and enjoy extraordinary wellness and longevity."
The Sadkhin Method is a synthesis of eastern and
western natural health practices. The centerpiece of his system
is chrono-therapy, which Dr. Sadkhin—currently writing a
book on his system--translates simply as "the seasonal approach
to health." With the help of ancient Chinese and Greek medicine,
Dr. Sadkhin has observed how the changing seasons affect different
organs and internal systems, and teaches how we can bring them into
harmony with nature’s cycles and rhythms.
In support of the seasonal approach, Dr. Sadkhin
teaches dietary practices, herbal supplementation, Tsubo therapy
(a Japanese form of self-applied acupressure), meridian exercises
(using yoga and qi-gong to stimulate organs and systems according
to seasonal rhythms), and breathing exercises. Literally thousands
of testimonials to the efficacy of this eclectic system have been
recorded at The Sadkhin Complex.
For twenty years Dr. Sadkhin specialized in treating
cardiovascular conditions with acupuncture at the prestigious Cardiological
Center of Ukraine. Five other Russian physicians from the center
worked with him on the system he now teaches. They studied the similarities
in lifestyle in areas where people commonly live past the age of
one hundred—the Hunzas, the Abkhazians in Transcaucasia, the Kunzhies
of Afghanistan, the Tubu tribe of the Sahara.
The doctors observed that certain elements of the
lifestyles of long-lived peoples (nutrition, for example) can be
emulated by peoples living in technological-industrial society.
Other elements, they found, can be introduced via the techniques
incorporated in The Sadkhin Method. "By learning to harmonize our
internal functioning with the external world," says Dr. Sadkin,
"we can program our bodies to work according to their inherent design,
even though most of us don’t live close to nature."
One difference between the U.S. and Russia has been
particularly surprising to Dr. Sadkhin. "When I came to the United
States, I was surprised at the obscurity of herbal formulas in everyday
life. In Russia, herbal remedies have been widely used for centuries
and almost the entire Russian population maintains some inventory
of them at home. Natural remedies are integrated into a physicians
training. Over two hundred herbs are approved by the Russian medical
establishment, and I propose that taking the right herbs for the
right organs, during the right season, can help you achieve optimum
health and peak performance."
Generally, the results of The Sadkhin Method are
weight normalization, balancing hormonal systems and blood chemistry,
and ridding the body of toxins. The result is rejuvenation, leading
to a body more likely to fulfill its genetic longevity potential.
